Tjernlund Commercial COMBUSTION AIR INTAKE Unit. Packaged systems engineered to provide controlled, interlocked combustion air. They offer a superior and cost-effective alternative to metal louvers. Outdoor air can be ducted and diffused at ceiling level eliminating cold spots and destrastifying hot spots in mechanical rooms. Inputs from 150,000 to 3,700,000 Btu/Hr.
Oil & Gas Furnaces require combustion air for the proper and energy efficient burning of their fuel. Combustion Air is drawn into the furnace from the area that it occupies. The air that is drawn into the furnace must be replaced for continued efficient combustion. Combustion Air Intake Units are fan powered. They mechanically draw outside air indoors on demand directly to the furnace or its surrounding area. The Combustion Air Intake Unit insures safe and efficient operation of the Oil or Gas Furnace, reducing negative pressure backdraft.
