FAMCO Motorized Spring Return Damper with Adjustable Damper Plate Air Flow and End Switch option. 24V or 120V Power Open or Power Close.
All Motorized Spring Return Dampers come with a Air Flow Control Adjustment which allows the limiting of damper plate positioning in open or close. The End Switch option allows another appliance to be operated when damper has reached its full open or close position.
- Operate a Blower Motor to provide Fresh Air
- Provide a Proving Circuit for Combustion Air
- Operate a Hydronic Zone Valve or Circulator
- Energize Exhaust Fan
- Activate Operational Light
The Adjustable Damper Plate Air Flow Control decreases the plate % opening. It is typically used when the zone is being over supplied with air (hot or cold). Many air tight homes do not have a means of dumping excess duct air (pressure) into a crawl space, attic, or outdoors (default zone). Some leakage thru the Zone Damper becomes desirable by leaving a small degree of opening.
The End Switch will not work if the Flow Control Adjustment prevents the Damper from achieving 100% of its powered position.
