Pressure Relief By-Pass

TYPES OF PRESSURE RELIEF BY-PASS DAMPERS

Barometric Pressure Relief By-Pass Dampers are
generally used in Zoning Systems to regulate Duct
Pressure as Zones Open & Close. As Duct Pressure
builds, it overcomes the weight on the Damper Arm
causing the Damper to open. The air is redirected
into an auxillary duct terminating back to the Return

Electronic Pressure Relief By-Pass Dampers are
motorized using an Adjustable Static Pressure Duct
Sensor. The damper modulates its position according to
the Duct Pressure. Air is redirected through the damper
into an auxillary duct terminating back to the Return Air
Duct reducing duct pressure from the Zoning System.
